STEP 7 MicroWIN Service Pack 7 Installation Instructions

Applicable for Siemens S7-200 PLC CN version sold by us:

1. Click “Start” on your Windows taskbar > Click “Control Panel” > Click “Add or Remove Programs”

2. Look for SIMATIC STEP 7-Micro/WIN v4.0.X.XX (depends on your current Service Pack) and click on “Change/Remove”

3. Click “Yes”. Be careful NOT to remove any other components such as “S7-200 Explorer” or “TD Keypad Designer”. DO NOT remove these components as it may cause STEP 7-Micro/WIN to malfunction.

4. After removing old version of STEP 7-Micro/WIN, restart your system, look for “STEP7-MicroWIN_V40_SP7” setup file downloaded and extracted earlier and double click on it. Then continue the installation procedure as usual.

5. After completing installation of Service Pack 7, restart your system.

6. Click “Start” on your Windows taskbar > Click “Control Panel” > Click “Regional and Languange Options”.

7. Change “Location” to “Malaysia” and click “OK”

8. Your system is now ready to use Service Pack 7.
