LOGO!Power, 4th generation

The 4th generation innovates the entire LOGO!Power product line. The power supply units with up to 100 W for distribution boards in LOGO! 8 miniature controller design are the compatible successors of today's 3rd generation. The 3rd generation will be available for another 6 months at least.
Key highlights are the significant reduction in width, the low no-load loss, the consistently high level of efficiency, flexible mounting (rail or direct installation), the current monitor for direct measurement of the output current, the extended ambient temperature range of -25 ° to +70 °C and international certification.
Product highlights
  • * Large portfolio with 11 products (previously 9) in four widths: 18 mm (new), 36 mm, 52 mm and 70 mm with a significant reduction (18 mm) of previous widths in each case
  • * Very high efficiency up to 90% over the entire load range
  • * Power loss in no-load operation (standby) < 0.3 W
  • * Power reserve of up to 150% (typically 200 ms) for capacitive loads during power supply start-up
  • * Global use thanks to comprehensive certification
  • * Wide range of mounting positions: rail or direct installation
  • * Power monitor for measuring output current (not for devices with 18 mm width)
  • * Extended operating temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C (derating from +55 °C)
  • * Status LED "DC OK"
  • * Adjustable output voltage (not for devices with 18 mm width)
  • * Can be used with all 1-phase power supply networks thanks to 100-240 V AC wide-range input without switchover
  • * For short periods (up to 1 sec) up to 300 V AC at input
  • * Operation with DC voltage from 110 to 300 V DC
  • * Made in EU : Austria / Romania
  • * Explosion protection,
  • # ATEX (EX) II 3G Ex nA IIC T3;
  • # cCSAus (CSA C22.2 No. 213-M1987, ANSI/ISA-12.12.01-2007)
  • # Class I, Div. 2, Group ABCD,T4
  • FM approval Class I, Div. 2, Group ABCD, T4
Customer benefits
  • * Slim design: reduced 18 mm width in each performance class
(36 mm instead of 54 mm / 54 mm instead of 72 mm / 72 mm instead of 90 mm)
  • * Flexible mounting: rail or wall mounting in various positions
  • * Excellent energy efficiency: up to 90% efficiency over the entire load range and no-load power loss of < 0.3 W (ERP-compliant)
  • * Integrated current monitor: determination of output current via measuring voltage, i.e. without interrupting the DC supply
  • * Broad portfolio: 11 versions with 5 V / 12 V / 15 V and 24 V DC up to 100 Watt
  • * Worldwide application: operating temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C and international certificates such as UL, CSA, FM and ATEX or shipbuilding
  • * Nine power supplies of LOGO portfolio are certified according to NEC CLASS 2
  • * Operational reliability: problem-free connection of loads with high inrush currents thanks to power reserves when starting up as well as constant current in the event of overload

Parallel connection to increase power rating

To enhance performance, two LOGO!Power power supplies of the same type can be galvanically connected in parallel.
